FourFour2 The bath curtain in girls’ bathing suits looks like something from the 1960s.
But the trend has been on the rise in recent years, with many brands using them to highlight the beauty of girls’ bodies.
“Bathroom curtains are a fashion trend, not a cosmetic one,” says the agency which commissioned the look and who supplied the designers for the designs.
“We wanted to find a simple and flattering alternative to the conventional bathing suit look.”
The designer, Gaby Noyes, created a range of bathing suits for women aged 14-24, from basic, plain styles to more colourful options.
“They’re simple to wear, they have a lot of charm, they’re very flattering and they’re made with very modern materials,” she says.
“I think a lot more people will be able to wear these in a more modern way.”
Noyes believes the trend will continue, with more designers and brands experimenting with the designs to help with women’s health.
“If there is a trend, there will be a lot,” she explains.
“With the amount of products we use, we have to make sure that they’re always looking the way we want them to look.”
