A ceramic birdbath body is a masterful piece of craftsmanship.
But it can be tricky to find one in the Philippines, so this one is for sale.
The piece of art, which was created in 2008 by artist Carlos Vivanco, was purchased by a collector for $14,000.
The seller is still looking for the buyer.
Vivanco’s ceramic bird body was one of the highlights of the Philippines’ 2012 World Fair.
The artist was commissioned by the Philippine government to create the masterpiece, which features a beautiful bird perched atop a bamboo basket and a woman with a towel.
Vivancono said the body was inspired by a birdbath he’d seen in New York City, but the idea was to make a completely unique piece.
It took him a year to create and he paid close attention to the details.
He’s currently working on a second one, which will include the bird and woman, a bath, and an elaborate sculpture of the bird.
The artist has also decided to use ceramic beads as the basis for the bath.
“If I can find a bead that is very strong and has good strength, I can make it stronger and it will not break,” he said.
The seller has yet to find a buyer for the ceramic bird, but he said the buyer is very excited.
“I have so many things waiting for him.
He is so happy,” Vivan said.
